Joining is optional - bitGen Studio works the same without it, and anyone can read and post in the Discussions as a guest.

Join from inside the app

1. Open 💬 CommunityIt is on the status bar along the bottom of the studio.
2. Choose a user ID and a password3 to 24 letters, numbers, _ . or -. Add your first and last name and your email address, and a display name if you like, then Join. Only the admins see your name and email address.
3. Type the code we email youIt confirms the address. Then the Help room and friends open. On another computer, Sign in with the same ID.
4. Ask in the Help roomEveryone who joins is in it. Click a name to find that person.
5. Add friendsFind someone by their ID and press + Add friend. When they accept, you are friends and can chat in private.

Translate bitGen Studio

Members share language packs - bitGen Studio in their own language. Download the master pack, translate what you can and share it; an admin checks each one first.

The rules

Be kind. Help each other. No spam, no hate, nothing illegal. Admins may delete messages and ban accounts.

What it keeps about you

Your user ID, display name, your first and last name and email address (only the admins see these), a scrambled form of your password (never the password itself), your friends, and what you write. If an admin bans an account, its email address cannot join again. You can leave at any time from ⋯ ▸ Leave the community, which deletes your ID, your password and your friendships; what you already wrote stays, shown as from "(left)".
